Stalkers (project for young curators) is a project in which 12 young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who are interested and / or involved in live arts and come from different municipalities in Catalonia participate in an annual experience based on the idea of curatorship. Stalkers is a proposal devised by four platforms for the live arts: SÂLMON <de Barcelona Festival, Olot Sismògraf Festival, Fira Tàrrega and TNT Festival (Terrassa New Trends) and has the collaboration of Eufònic Festival and different Town Councils: El Prat del Llobregat Council, Alcover Council, Martorell Council, Olot Council, Tàrrega Council and Terrassa Council.
Two people aged between 18 and 25 from each of the municipalities taking part will have the opportunity to see 5 festivals from the inside through a project designed to allow young people interested in curating live arts to get to know this practice first-hand, by attending festivals and art events accompanied by creators, cultural managers. and other agents in the sector. Each festival will work on a different aspect of live arts programming, so that young participants can experience both the theory and practice, the situation of live arts in our country and by extension, in the specific territorial contexts of the participating festivals and municipalities.
After a year's experience, will work with the two young people from each municipality to accompany them in setting up a live arts curatorial project of their own that fits in with the programming of each city and is aimed mainly at their young audiences.
