In any creative process we may subjectively experience a degree of separation between reflecting and doing, between thinking and producing, between theory and practice. How do these two modes of engagement relate to each other? What are they made of? How can they be integrated? Are they actually separate? In this lecture-performance I will share some thoughts and some moves. Maybe some thoughts that move and some moves that think. We will assume that theory and practice can be separately identified, we will discuss their respective roles in various processes, and we will conjecture possible ways of integrating thinking and doing.
This performance is part of a program that opens a reflection on the notion of transmission and critical thinking about practices and knowledges in performing arts today. A four-day program activated in different spaces of the Mercat dels Flors.
